Sixth Photo Shoot (August)
This is our first good quality photoshoot! A magazine (which name Im not saying until the article comes out) was in charge of the photo session to feature the pics in it. We drove all the way to a studio in Petaling Jaya with no food in our stomachs but in high spirit nevertheless. The first detail was that they told us they could provide us with clothes to change, but we decided to bring our own. The place is a small but cosy studio like room in a business centre, and there are some people busy taking pics of underwears to publish in ads. After squeezing our way past the camerapeople, a coffee-ridden table and a small stereo on the floor (which was playing song after song of irritating boy bands) we came into a nice space with a photography setup and a makeup mirror desk on one side. The first thing we hear is: "you are one hour and a half late" to which we apologise and say its fault of the rain and the traffic jam, aside from getting lost around PJ. (Well, part of it was true). Hey, we gave the director a hard time! :) We were disagreeing on her choice of clothes we had to wear (even though they were our own, she still wanted to choose who wore what) We were telling her we wanted to make monster poses but she kept on saying to stand still and straight and look "cool"..but we still resisted and told her we wanted to look like animals! The lady that put on us that makeup was cool though, even though Boy got on her nerves by discussing he had had enough of it! We were laughing so much during the makeup session, shame we had no camera to take it. Anyways, after almost two hours of tiring brainstorming new poses among us and giving the director and the photographer a hard time we finally ended the photoshoot around 8pm. (we started around 5pm). And after fighting with the director again for some reject pictures which we wanted to take back, she finally gave in a couple, which Im posting down here for you to see!
